The Nepal introduction tour: Federal- Democratic Republic of Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is bordered by China to the north, and India to the south, east, and west. The Himalaya Mountain Range  runs across Nepal’s northern and western parts, and eight of the world’s ten highest mountains, including Mount Everest, are within its territory. The total area of Nepal is 147181 sq. Km with an East to West length of about 800Km. and a North to South width of about 90-230Km. Nepal is located 26° 26’ north – 30° 26’ north latitude & 80° 03’ east – 88° 15’ west longitude. The elevation of Nepal starts at 70m above sea level and ends with Mt. Everest at 8848m.

Nepal has a population of about 27 million people. Education is not compulsory here so only 57% of the population is literate. The primary religions in Nepal are Hinduism & Buddhism. There are also some Muslims, Kirats, Jains,  Christians, and others. There are more than 60 different ethnic groups in Nepal, each having their own dialect culture.

The national flag of Nepal is quite unique in shape. Moon resides in the upper triangle and sun in the lower triangle. The blue color in the border of the flag denotes the peace-loving nature of Nepalese. In addition to this-this flag carries various Vedic importances.

Bhaktapur is an ancient Newar city located in an east corner of the Kathmandu Valley, approximately 13 km (8 miles) from the Kathmandu Valley. Also known as an open museum, it is home to some of the best preserved historical monuments including palaces, courtyards, temples, pagodas, monuments, craftwork, hand-crafted peacock windows, etc, reflecting mostly Hinduism. It has two of the seven monument zones within the Kathmandu Valley listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There is also a rich concentration of culture and tradition among the Newars of Bhaktapur because they have their own festivals, music, and dances therefore, The entire city is full of historical masterpieces.

Bhaktapur is also famous for its marvelous crafts including pottery, weaver, thanka and masks and is popular for its mask dances that reflect the lives of different Gods and deities. The name Bhaktapur literally translates to “City of Devotees”, thus one can expect to find a multitude of religious places, monuments, and events in Bhaktapur. The place is renowned as the city of Gods.

Itinerary

Arrival Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel then rest of time is free.

Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley inclusive of Buddhanath Stupa (one of the biggest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, where also you will be able to see many monks and Tibetan peoples), Pasupatinath (one of the most important Hindu Temple of God Shiva, where dead body also cremate), Bhaktapur City (Among three oldest cities is one of the interesting city , where visitor can see fifty five wood carving windows palace, a lot of pottery clubs, many temples and a lot of wood carving place) , Patan City (Also one of the city like Bhaktapur where you will be able to see a Hindus Temple call God Krishna Temple and Many others as well as A Buddhist Temple call Golden Temple ) & Swyambhunath Stupa (One of oldest Buddhist Stupa situated at the highest place in Kathmandu Valley, from where you can see the scenery of Kathmandu Valley, as well as some mountain peaks also if weather is nice) .

Afternoon by private vehicle drive to Nagarkot all the way through geography to see Mountain, sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning then overnight there.

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu and afternoon is free then overnight there

Drive or Fly to second beautiful city of Nepal: Pokhara then overnight there.

Full day’s city sightseeing in Pokhara then overnight at hotel.

Drive or Fly back to Kathmandu overnight there.

Departure transfer to airport.
